Christmas Retreat with Swamini Svatmavidyananda Ji – Huasteca Potosina, Mexico – December 23 to 27

For the first time in Mexico, a Mahatma from the Himalayas, India: Swamini Svatmavidyananda Saraswati

5 days in the jungle of the Huasteca Potosina during the sweetest time of the year, centered on the 20 values of knowledge according to the Gita (Jnana Sadhana)

Wednesday, December 23 to Sunday, December 27

Swamini Svatmavidyananda Saraswati, is coming to Mexico for the first time… WOW! Not even in our wildest dreams did we expect her to accept our invitation… and with a double gift: this space at CHRISTMAS and another at NEW YEAR.

This retreat is an invitation to pause and return to what is essential, during a time that for many can feel like an emotionally intense season. Here we will explore the 20 values of knowledge (Jnana Sadhana) taught in the Bhagavad Gita, a profound guide for inner growth. More than theoretical concepts, these values, such as humility, sincerity, self-mastery, and non-attachment, are practical tools to live with greater clarity, freedom, and peace in everyday life.

Throughout the retreat, we will combine teachings, reflection, and moments of silence, creating a space to integrate and feel the embrace of those present, the divine, and nature. We wish to offer you an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, to understand more deeply who you are, and to close the year with awareness and knowledge.

Beyond her impressive background, we want to share what this Swamini represents to us… from the heart: To have someone like her with us so deeply rooted in these Vedic teachings, so renowned and revered in the Himalayas, is a true inspiration, but what is most striking is the quality of her teaching. She is incredibly funny, profoundly deep, and exceptionally intelligent, which gives her the perfect formula: GRACE manifested. She is charming, contagious, radiant! WE LOVE HER, and we are deeply grateful to have her as our teacher in this lifetime and here at HOME…

What is Vedanta? What does the Bhagavad Gita teach?

Vedanta is an ancient philosophical and spiritual tradition originating in India. Its name comes from the Sanskrit “Veda” (knowledge) and “Anta” (end or culmination), meaning “the culmination or realization of knowledge.” The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most important texts of the Vedic tradition: a dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna that addresses the great dilemmas of life, action, and purpose. It is a practical guide for living with clarity and balance, making better decisions, understanding our emotions, and acting with greater meaning and inner freedom.

During this retreat, Swaminiji will offer teachings on the 20 values and the Satyas, and we will complement them with Yoga classes, Kirtan, love & translation… we are absolutely happy with this vision!

Will there be Yoga Asana practice during the retreat?

Our teacher, Swami Sivananda, recommended the Yoga of synthesis, in which all paths of Yoga are practiced together: Karma, Bhakti, Raja, and Jnana. This retreat will be no exception, we will include all the components of integral Yoga so that a deep transformation can take place and the immersion can be fully enjoyed…
